CFD Simulation with FlowVisionFlowVision is a modern C++ based modular CFD software for numerical simulation of complex gas/fluid flows. The finite volume based parallel solver (Linux/Windows) is fully intergarted with the Windows based pre-post processor. FlowVision has been successfully used since 1992 for the investigation of 3D fluid/gas flows in various projects in the following application areas: - investigation of ventilation systems (air flow, heat and contamination transfer);
- analysis of gas flows in ducts and scrubbers;
- analysis of fluid flow in cleaning devices;
- modeling of flows in electro-hydrodynamic pumps;
- modeling gas flows in compressors;
- investigation of combustion process in burners and boilers used in power stations;
- analysis of processes related with charge-recharge of hydrogen storage vessels;
- simulation of car tire aquaplaning at high speed;
- complex Fluid Structure Intergation analysis (coupling with Abaqus).
Multi-physics simulations with FlowVision 3.0 - Abaqus (Fluid-Structure-Interaction)Solving multi-physics problems involving large structural deformation caused by hydrodynamic pressure (e.g. a heart valve operation) is easy and straight forward with the FlowVision and Abaqus. The FlowVision Multi-Physics Manager (MPM) provides direct link with Abaqus FEM (explicit/implicit). The simulation is easy to set-up (within minutes) and operates fully automatically by monitoring both FlowVision and Abaqus solvers. Through graphical user interface all crucial parameters can be followed in parallel with the simulation.
